Meet the farmers 🚜

Ever wondered where the meat you're eating actually comes from?

The lovely lamb shoulder in our WOAP burger comes from @conscious_valley farm in Ohariu Valley, which is only 7km from The Tasting Room (as the Kaka flies).
We are lucky enough to be having Hamish and Paddy, the farmers, and their dogs, Collie and Ted, coming to The Tasting Room this Thursday the 7th of August at 5pm for a meet and greet!

Head on down to try our burger and have a chat with the people who take such good care of their stock.

Lupo Solitario – 'Lone Wolf' in Italian – is Fork & Brewer's Unfiltered Single Hop IPA and a true showcase of the popular Mosaic hop. Pouring golden with a hint of hop haze and a fluffy white head, expect plenty of juicy tropical hop and stonefruit aromas and flavours – pineapple, peach, lychee, mango, and hints of resinous pine, all delivered with a clean malt backbone and a soft, juicy mouthfeel.

We were central Wellington’s only finalists with our debut entry last year and boy have we outdone ourselves again this year. You all should definitely pop down and try it out.

Stone fruit lager 🍑🥭
This is the first batch they have made using Hallertau hops and we are the first bar in the world to have it tapped (even before the brewery itself)
Definitely worth coming in to try this sweet fruity light and very seasonable lager
